Port forwarding

Port forwarding services are provided at all major terminals in the Big Port of St.Petersburg.

  • Receiving and analyzing information about cargoes expected to arrive
  • Selecting an optimal terminal for cargo handling
  • Collecting shipping and commercial documents from line and ship agents
  • Coordinating with port authorities and obtaining approvals from supervisory authorities for transshipment and storage of dangerous, heavy and out-of-gauge goods
  • Completing all necessary port and terminal documentation
  • Arranging for handling operations, including separation, reconditioning, palletizing, stripping/stuffing and intermodal transshipment
  • Arranging for surveyor services
  • Arranging for inspection and weighing of cargo on request from either a supervisory authority or a consignee
  • Arranging for storage of goods requiring particular temperature conditions at refrigerated warehouses at the Big Sea Port of St.Petersburg
  • Accumulating shipments intended for export at port terminals
  • Arranging for obtaining export permits by ship/line agents
  • Supporting line agents in obtaining container equipment (for containerized cargoes)
  • Receiving cargoes from terminals
  • Coordinating shipments
  • Receiving, verifying and paying (upon receipt of compensation guarantees from consignees) the invoices issued by the terminals for work performed and excess storage
  • Developing and implementing individual (customer specific) transshipment and port handling techniques
